Service Description
The lion’s share of student support for the college essay typically falls on the shoulders of counselors and a few teachers. And, for any number of reasons, there is often a great gap between the amount of support students receive. I have designed college essay workshops intended to address these issues in the lives of juniors and seniors. Two-hour workshops can be modified according to school's time limitations. Full Presentation includes: 1) Brief introduction to the college essay process; 2) Idea generation exercise; 3) follow-up questions designed to help students make connections among their responses; 4) Guided Reflection time and/or Peer Review and Feedback.
